INBACLON1K20000 is a high-performance industrial communication gateway from the Intesis BACnet Server – LonWorks series, designed to integrate LonWorks FT-10 networks with building automation systems using BACnet/IP or BACnet MSTP. The device acts as a BACnet Server, allowing reading, writing, and COV subscription of data from the LON network, which is mapped into BACnet objects. This ensures seamless, bidirectional integration between LonWorks devices and BACnet-based BMS or SCADA systems without the need for intermediate converters. The gateway supports up to 1200 BACnet points and 2000 COV subscriptions, making it a perfect solution for medium and large-scale automation projects.

The gateway operates as a LonWorks client, cyclically reading Network Variables (NVs) from LON devices and updating their values on the BACnet side. Each LON variable is represented as a unique BACnet object, ensuring full data transparency and interoperability. In case of a communication failure, the gateway automatically generates diagnostic signals accessible from the BACnet side, allowing for quick issue detection. Support for Analog Input, Binary Input, Multistate Value, and Trend Log objects allows the device to be used in HVAC, lighting control, energy monitoring, and metering applications.

Configuration and diagnostics are performed using Intesis MAPS software, which enables project import/export, real-time communication monitoring, and error analysis. The tool also allows users to view live variable values and connection statuses, simplifying commissioning and troubleshooting. The device supports both DHCP and static IP addressing and communicates via Ethernet (BACnet/IP) or RS-485 (BACnet MSTP). With built-in 1500 VDC galvanic isolation, the gateway ensures safe and stable operation even in harsh industrial environments.

Its compact ABS housing (UL94 V-0) with dimensions of 90 × 88 × 56 mm allows installation on a DIN EN60715 TH35 rail or directly on a wall. The unit operates with a 9–36 VDC or 24 VAC ±10% power supply, consuming up to 140 mA DC / 127 mA AC. LED indicators provide real-time status of power, Ethernet, LON, and BACnet communications, simplifying maintenance. A DIP switch allows activation of RS-485 bus termination and polarization settings. The gateway is fully compliant with BACnet Revision 14 and LON FT-10 standards, ensuring interoperability and long-term reliability.
