Each Modbus RTU to Profinet converter available in our offer ensures up to 5 years warrnaty, industrial power supply range 12-35VDC or 24VAC battery range, easy mounting on a DIN rail, immunity to electromagnetic interference and the possibility of installation in external boxes and environment with a wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. Devices has been designed to support RS-232, RS-485 (for Modbus communication), Ethernet (for programming) and PROFINET connectors. Special automotive versions have an IP67 metal housing with M12 connectors and even wider operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and 4000V galvanic isolation.
Thanks to the free software included with each device, the converters are very easy to configure. Depending on the model, the converters can operate in Modbus master or Modbus slave mode and have a limitation related to the built-in memory, which allows a maximum configuration of 4096 bytes in writing and 4096 bytes in reading variables. Selected devices have Profinet Class B and RT Class 1 compatibility, support the Profinet IO device protocol and have built-in service tools that, together with logs, allow faster device diagnostics.
