Industrial computers designed for rail and road transport
Industrial railway computers complying with EN 50155, due to, among other things. Among other things, they are ideally suited to road and rail transport projects due to their very high vibration resistance. In addition, the computers are characterised by high resistance to extremely low and high temperatures, impacts and resistance to dust, humidity, vibration and electromagnetic interference.
The rail computers can be equipped with Ethernet ports with speeds of 100Mbps or 1000Mbps on M12 connectors, which guarantee reliable communication in vibrating environments, optionally the ports can have PoE and PoE+ functionality. The computers operate in temperatures from -40° to 70°C, feature fanless metal construction and are powered by 8-35VDC. If you need to expand the device's resources, mini-PCIe expansion cards are available, allowing you to add a 3G, 4G or WiFi module, for example.
Processors supported by the rail computers are 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th generation Intel® Core™, plus up to 64GB DDR4 and SATA and mSATA connectors for HDD/SSD drives. Additional features will include RS-232, RS-485, USB 2.0 and 3.1 ports, microphone input, audio output, CAN interface, DIO module (DI and DO) and VGA, DVI-D and DP ports for video display.
The purpose of EN 50155-certified computers is to operate flawlessly 24/7 and reliably support control and monitoring processes in cars, buses, railways and others in the field of road and rail transport. Selected industrial computers in the category feature CAN communication ports, ignition control (ignition control), expandability with additional IO resources and support for RAID technology.
