KNX communication modules for LG air conditioners
The LG KNX gateway modules for LG's VRF series air conditioners allow them to be integrated into and managed by means of the KNX protocol with master systems such as BMS or SCADA. With the modules, faults can be diagnosed faster, temperature, power and other functions of the air conditioners can be controlled, saving maintenance time, energy and wear and tear on the units.

Features and functions of LG KNX gateway communication modules
Communication modules enable the simultaneous connection of 1 to 64 air-conditioning units= indoor units to control the operating mode, fan speed and temperature settings. In addition, the modules allow monitoring of faults, alarms and some internal variables, such as the operating hour counter, to help control filter maintenance. The Gateway is compatible with the ETS software and allows variables to be read and written from the air conditioners on the KNX side.
Integrating KNX thermostats with the module allows the air conditioner to be controlled by its own temperature sensor. Additional functions such as presence detection, window opening and time limit allow significant energy savings. The configuration of the modules is extremely simple and is done by setting the corresponding DIP-switches. The modules allow simultaneous control of the air conditioner via infrared remote control and KNX. All units are KNX-certified and can be mounted on the wall or on a DIN rail (TH35).
The connection between the two networks can be quickly configured with the ETS tool, using the available product database. With support for a wide range of KNX DPTs and KNX certification, the gateway guarantees full interoperability with any KNX device available on the market.
