The HD67422-E4R is a rugged industrial converter designed to enable seamless communication between CANopen networks and Modbus RTU Masters. It is particularly suitable for installation in cars, trucks, trains, boats, and in industrial environments exposed to vibration, shock and harsh conditions. The robust metal housing combined with IP67 protection makes it resistant to dust, moisture and aggressive external factors, ensuring uninterrupted operation in demanding applications.
Two hardware versions are available. The V version (IP65) provides reliable dust protection thanks to PCB coating, while the R version (IP67) uses resin encapsulation, offering superior electrical insulation and protection against condensation, humidity and EMC noise. This flexibility allows integrators to choose the most appropriate version for their application, from standard industrial automation to marine, railway or automotive systems. In addition, users can select the type of connectors: Mini-Fit® or Superseal 1.5®, depending on installation requirements and environmental constraints.
The converter can be mounted on any type of surface – horizontal, vertical or oblique – using four fixing lugs. If required, metal hose clamps can also be used for fixing, which is particularly useful in vehicles or outdoor enclosures where traditional mounting is not possible. The operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C fully complies with AUTOMOTIVE standards, guaranteeing stable and reliable operation even in extreme climate conditions. This makes the HD67422 suitable for both industrial plants and mission-critical transportation applications.
