HD67522-485-A1 is a Modbus TCP / Modbus ASCII Converter and it allows you to connect a Modbus TCP network with a Modbus ASCII network in order to exchange the informations between the networks. This version is equipped with an RS485 interface, making it ideal for multidrop installations where multiple ASCII devices share the same bus line. RS485 provides longer communication distances and better noise immunity compared to RS232, which makes this converter suitable for industrial plants, energy monitoring and distributed automation systems.
