HD67C28-B2 is an industrial communication converter designed to integrate data sources available via OPC UA with systems that use MQTT. The device operates as an OPC UA Client, allowing it to read data from OPC UA Servers on an industrial network and then deliver it to higher-level applications, IoT platforms and analytics systems through an embedded MQTT Broker.

On the OT side, HD67C28-B2 works as an OPC UA Client, while on the IT side it provides an embedded MQTT Broker. It supports publishing and subscribing MQTT topics and linking those topics to variables read from OPC UA Servers. This makes the gateway a practical bridge between OPC UA data models and MQTT-based integration layers used in SCADA, BMS, MES and cloud environments.

The Ethernet RJ45 port is used for device programming and for MQTT and OPC UA communication. The interface provides one MAC Address for MQTT and one for OPC UA, which helps keep network diagnostics and traffic identification clear.
