HD67C31-G43-E-B2 – IEC 61850 Server / MQTT Broker converter with LAN, LTE SIM and eSIM.

HD67C31-G43-E-B2 is an industrial communication converter that connects IEC 61850 Server systems to an MQTT Broker architecture. It is designed for projects where IEC 61850 data must be made available to publish/subscribe applications used in IIoT, monitoring platforms, analytics, or supervisory layers, while keeping cabinet-ready hardware and an industrial operating range.

The G43 variant includes an LTE module with a Micro-SIM slot and an SMA Female antenna connector. The E option adds an internal eSIM available for LTE connectivity managed from ADFweb’s platform, which helps simplify multi-site rollouts and reduces SIM logistics in distributed installations.

  • LAN + LTE Micro-SIM + eSIM connectivity options for remote sites and distributed infrastructures.
  • 1x Ethernet RJ45 used for programming and for MQTT and IEC 61850 communication.
  • 10/100 Base-T Autosensing for both IEC 61850 and MQTT traffic.
  • Electrical isolation between Ethernet and Power Supply to improve resilience in noisy installations.
  • 35 mm DIN rail mounting, enclosure type B (Modulbox 4M), connector type B2 (fixed screw terminal).
  • Configuration via Compositor SW67C31: IEC 61850 parameters, MQTT parameters, allowed MQTT clients, published and subscribed topics, internal forwarding topics, and device update.
  • Two dedicated MAC addresses: one for the MQTT side and one for the IEC 61850 side, supporting structured network deployments.
  • BTN1 Recovery Mode for recovery after a wrong firmware update; firmware update or reset is possible via default IP 192.168.2.206 using a webserver.
  • MQTT payload templates support mapping IEC 61850 values into payloads using the $VALUE$ keyword, or advanced keywords for multi-variable payloads (useful for JSON formatting).
