The INBACHIT016O000 IntesisBox gateway has been engineered to provide seamless integration between Hitachi VRF systems and BACnet IP or BACnet MS/TP building management networks. It allows full bidirectional communication, enabling centralized control and real-time monitoring of up to 16 indoor units from BMS, SCADA, PLC, or other supervisory systems operating as BACnet Servers or Masters.

The gateway connects directly to the outdoor unit's H-Link communication bus and allows control over all connected indoor units. Besides core functions like mode, fan speed, and setpoint, the gateway also enables access to internal parameters from the outdoor unit. This makes the INBACHIT016O000 a powerful tool for energy optimization, fault diagnosis, and system-level automation.

Configuration is performed using the intuitive Intesis MAPS software, offering drag-and-drop setup, device scanning, and graphical diagnostics. The scan function simplifies deployment by auto-discovering connected units, significantly reducing setup time. Additionally, the built-in diagnostic features enable rapid troubleshooting of communication errors or device faults.

The INBACHIT016O000 is ideal for commercial buildings, hotels, office environments, and industrial facilities where HVAC control needs to be integrated into a BACnet-based automation architecture.
