The INBACKNX6000000 is a high-performance gateway from Intesis, developed specifically to enable seamless, bidirectional integration between KNX systems and BACnet/IP-based building management systems (BMS), SCADA, or any compatible BACnet client. Supporting up to 600 communication objects, this industrial-grade solution is ideal for medium to large automation projects where centralized control and interoperability are essential.
The gateway allows full access to KNX datapoints from BACnet systems, mapping group addresses into BACnet objects with support for real-time updates via Change of Value (COV) subscriptions. Acting as a BACnet/IP Server, it ensures that BACnet clients can read and write to internal points, enabling synchronized operations between lighting, HVAC, shading, and other KNX subsystems through a unified BACnet interface.
Installation and commissioning are simplified thanks to the use of a web-based configuration interface and the inclusion of a dedicated RS232 console port for advanced diagnostics and firmware updates. The opto-isolated KNX TP1 connection ensures reliable communication with electrical isolation for protection and stability.
