The INBACMID004I000 gateway from Intesis enables full bidirectional integration of Midea Commercial and VRF air conditioning systems into a BACnet MS/TP network. Specifically designed for seamless communication and fast deployment in building management systems (BMS), this module provides control and monitoring for up to 4 indoor units.

It connects directly to the communication bus of the indoor units, providing BACnet access to essential HVAC functions including setpoint control, fan speed, operation mode, and real-time monitoring of error codes, alarms, and selected internal variables. The abstraction of AC functionalities into fixed BACnet objects makes integration predictable and scalable.

The interface is fully compatible with BACnet MS/TP networks and is officially BTL certified, ensuring interoperability with a wide range of BACnet devices and controllers. Configuration is performed via onboard DIP switches, eliminating the need for external tools or complex software. Its “plug and set” approach allows for rapid commissioning and reduces engineering time on site.

Thanks to its compact format (93 x 53 x 58 mm), the INBACMID004I000 can be DIN-rail, wall-mounted, or even integrated directly inside the indoor unit in some Midea models. This provides flexibility for installers and system integrators working in space-constrained environments.

The gateway supports simultaneous control from the Midea remote controller and the BACnet MS/TP network, ensuring that end users can retain local control if desired. Furthermore, the Occupancy function helps optimize energy consumption by disabling the system when areas are unoccupied — a useful feature in energy-efficient BMS deployments.
