The INBACSAM008O000 Intesis Gateway delivers seamless, bidirectional communication between Samsung NASA VRF systems and any automation platform that speaks BACnet IP or MS/TP. Designed for integrators who need reliable control of small to mid-sized VRF installations, it exposes every essential HVAC datapoint to a BMS, SCADA or PLC, unlocking energy-optimised set-points, fault reporting and remote maintenance from a single supervisory screen.

Connected directly to the outdoor-unit communication bus, the gateway supervises up to eight indoor units without disturbing native Samsung networking. Beyond start/stop and set-temperature commands, it reveals advanced diagnostics such as compressor status, discharge temperature, error codes and fan feedback, enabling predictive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting. Each value is mapped to standard BACnet objects, so integrators can drop the device into existing building projects with zero scripting.

Commissioning is handled by Intesis MAPS, an intuitive PC tool that auto-discovers indoor units, builds point lists and pushes configurations over USB or Ethernet in minutes. MAPS offers bulk-edit wizards, live packet capture and health dashboards, so engineers can validate networks before hand-over. Once on-line, the gateway’s non-volatile memory stores alarms and running hours, while dual power options (9–36 V DC or 24 V AC) give flexibility on site. A rugged, DIN-rail enclosure with UL-94 V-0 plastic keeps electronics safe in control cabinets, and LEDs on both serial ports simplify on-site diagnostics.
