The INKNXHIT016O000 IntesisBox gateway has been engineered to enable seamless, bidirectional integration between Hitachi VRF air conditioning systems and KNX-based building automation environments. Designed for professional installations, it supports up to 16 indoor units, making it ideal for small and medium-sized commercial or residential applications.

Direct connection to the outdoor unit’s communication bus (H-Link) enables real-time control of all connected indoor units. Users can adjust temperature, mode, fan speed, and other key AC functions through their KNX system. Additionally, the interface allows access to internal variables of the outdoor units, enabling deeper system diagnostics and energy-efficient control strategies.

Device setup is handled via Intesis® MAPS, a versatile and user-friendly configuration tool from HMS. MAPS allows integrators to scan connected units automatically, assign group addresses, test functionality, and analyze data in both online and offline modes. Its powerful diagnostics help identify communication issues and ensure a fast commissioning process.
