The INKNXMID064I000 gateway from Intesis has been engineered to offer reliable, bidirectional integration between Midea VRF HVAC systems and KNX building automation networks. This gateway supports up to 64 indoor units and facilitates full control and monitoring of key air conditioning parameters directly from a KNX installation.

It connects directly to the communication bus of the Midea outdoor units and acts as a seamless bridge between HVAC systems and the KNX TP-1 network. Through this gateway, users gain access not only to standard AC controls like setpoint temperature, mode selection, fan speed, or ON/OFF status but also to valuable internal data from outdoor units that can be used for energy management and fault diagnostics.

The gateway configuration is carried out using the Intesis MAPS software, which provides powerful tools for easy setup, including an automatic scan function to detect all connected indoor units. This significantly shortens commissioning time and ensures fast deployment in the field. Additionally, diagnostic features embedded in the software make fault identification more efficient for system integrators.
