The INMBSSAM004O000 IntesisBox gateway is specifically designed to enable bidirectional communication between Samsung NASA VRF air conditioning systems and Modbus-based building automation systems, such as BMS, SCADA, or PLCs. It allows full control and monitoring of Samsung units via both Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols.

The gateway connects directly to the outdoor unit’s communication bus and provides real-time access to all indoor units connected to the system – supporting up to 4 indoor units. In addition to core functionalities such as power control, temperature setting, fan speed, and mode selection, it allows access to internal variables and diagnostic data from the outdoor units.

Device setup is managed through the powerful and intuitive Intesis MAPS configuration software. Thanks to its auto-scan feature, the system can automatically discover all available units, making commissioning fast and efficient. Its diagnostic capabilities simplify fault detection and support long-term maintenance.

The unit is equipped with multiple interfaces, including RS232, RS485, Ethernet, and a console port, making it ideal for various project needs. It is enclosed in a robust housing, suited for both wall and DIN rail mounting, and features LED indicators for communication and power status.
