The INMBSSAM008O000 gateway from Intesis is designed for bidirectional integration of Samsung NASA VRV air conditioning systems with Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP networks. It enables control and monitoring of up to 8 indoor units directly from BMS, SCADA, or PLC platforms operating as Modbus masters.

The device connects directly to the communication bus of the Samsung outdoor units and allows centralized control of all connected indoor units. This includes not only access to standard AC features such as setpoint, mode, and fan speed but also the ability to monitor certain internal variables from the outdoor unit for advanced diagnostics and system performance analysis.

Configuration and commissioning are done through Intesis MAPS, a powerful and user-friendly software environment for all new generation Intesis gateways. It provides advanced features such as a scan function that automatically discovers all units in the system, customizable register mapping, and real-time diagnostics to quickly identify any communication issues. This reduces installation time and minimizes integration complexity.
