The INMBSSAM016O000 IntesisBox gateway enables bidirectional communication between Samsung NASA VRF systems and Modbus-based automation environments such as BMS, SCADA, or PLC controllers. It provides a complete solution for HVAC integration using Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols.

This gateway is connected directly to the Samsung outdoor unit’s communication bus and allows the control and monitoring of up to 16 indoor units. It supports main AC functions (mode, fan speed, temperature, on/off) and additionally grants access to internal system variables and diagnostic values from the outdoor units.

Configuration is handled via Intesis MAPS, a powerful and user-friendly tool offering a visual interface, diagnostic capabilities, and a scan function that auto-detects all connected indoor units. This greatly reduces setup time and simplifies integration into existing infrastructures.

The gateway includes several communication ports: RS232, RS485, Ethernet, and a console port. LEDs on the unit indicate status and activity of each interface, helping technicians during commissioning and maintenance. The gateway’s robust design makes it suitable for professional environments.
