The MGL-SS is a non contact RFID locking switch which has been developed to provide and maintain a high level of functional safety whilst providing a reliable magnetic door interlock.

Coding is achieved by using magnetic and RFID techniques and both principles need to be satisfied for the switch to operate safely. Uniquely coded RFID (U) or Series Coded RFID (M) available – depending upon user’s risk assessment for application.

The actuator has been designed to be flexible and therefore has a degree of tolerance to misalignment. Remanence magnetization holding technique acts as a light magnetic latch after unlocking or loss of power to the machine.The MGL Stainless Steel 316 model is the perfect solution for food processing, packaging or pharmaceutical applications due to the IP69K rating that allows the switch to undergo high pressure hosing with detergent at high temperature.
