The INKNXMBM1000200 is a powerful and compact gateway for integrating Modbus RTU client devices with KNX TP networks. Designed for professional installations, this gateway enables seamless communication between up to 100 Modbus registers and KNX datapoints, using ETS software and official certified databases. This integration allows for full interoperability between Modbus-based equipment—such as energy meters, HVAC controllers, lighting systems—and any KNX-based building automation system.
Thanks to its bidirectional communication capabilities, the gateway allows access to Modbus data from KNX devices as if the devices were native to the KNX network, and vice versa. The gateway supports up to 205 KNX communication objects and complies with KNX standard datapoint types (DPTs), ensuring compatibility with virtually any KNX product on the market.
Configuration is performed entirely via ETS (Engineering Tool Software), using the official ETS database provided by Intesis. Integration is further simplified with the latest Device Configuration App (DCA) support, which enables quick import/export of device templates. This accelerates integration workflows, reduces human error, and enhances commissioning efficiency.
The device is built for DIN rail mounting and features compact dimensions, making it ideal for inclusion in electrical cabinets and BMS panels.
