RelAir OCS – Wireless M-Bus outdoor temperature and humidity sensor, battery powered.

RelAir OCS is a Wireless M-Bus sensor for measuring outdoor temperature and relative humidity, designed for outdoor deployment. It is aligned with the OMS ecosystem and enables reliable field monitoring without running measurement cables. A splash-resistant housing and a built-in battery simplify installation where fast commissioning and low deployment cost are critical.

OMS Wireless M-Bus: EN 13757-4 Mode S and Mode T, 868 MHz

RelAir OCS communicates via Wireless M-Bus according to EN 13757-4 in Mode S and Mode T, operating in the 868 MHz band. This allows the sensor to be integrated into typical OMS radio readout infrastructures, so temperature and humidity data can be collected within the same ecosystem as wireless meters and other wM-Bus devices.

No-PC setup: interval, mode and encryption configured by jumpers

RelAir OCS is designed for simple commissioning: key radio parameters are configured by jumpers. You can set the transmission interval (1 min, 5 min, 10 min, 15 min), select wM-Bus mode and define security options. Optional AES-128 Mode 5 encryption is available when you require additional protection at the radio layer.

Battery powered design and long service life

The sensor is supplied by a factory-installed lithium battery, eliminating external power wiring. Battery lifetime is specified as up to 10 years (and described as more than 10 years), depending on the selected transmission interval. This supports long maintenance cycles and low total cost of ownership in distributed installations.

Measurement ranges and accuracy (temperature & humidity)

RelAir OCS measures temperature in the -40..+65°C range, with accuracy ±0.6°C below 0°C and ±0.2°C above 0°C. Relative humidity is measured in the 10..90% RH range with ±2% RH accuracy. Measurement resolution is 0.1°C and 0.1% RH, supporting clear trend analysis in environmental monitoring.

Wall-mount housing: IP54, compact size, internal antenna

The device features a light-grey polycarbonate wall-mount housing rated IP54. Dimensions are 65 × 78 × 41 mm, and the internal antenna simplifies outdoor installation by removing exposed external parts.

RelAir OCS is a robust, battery-powered Wireless M-Bus outdoor temperature and humidity sensor, compliant with OMS and EN 13757-4 (Mode S/T).
