The HD674-A009-2-E4V is a rugged industrial-grade protocol converter designed to bridge communication between a Modbus RTU Slave device and a SNMP Agent system. Featuring triple 4kV galvanic isolation between power supply, Modbus and Ethernet interfaces, this converter ensures maximum safety and stability in environments prone to electrical interference, vibrations, or temperature fluctuations.

Housed in a robust metal enclosure, the unit is resistant to shocks and vibrations, making it ideal for deployment in transportation, heavy-duty machinery, or industrial automation. It supports both Mini-Fit and Superseal 1.5 connectors, allowing flexibility depending on installation needs. Its compact size and DIN rail mounting option simplify integration into tight control panels or enclosures.

This model is available in two versions: IP65 (suffix V) with PCB coating for protection against dust and IP67 (suffix R) using a resin-encapsulated design to withstand moisture and electromagnetic disturbances. With an operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, the device exceeds standard industrial requirements, making it suitable for automotive, marine, and rail applications.

Configuration is handled via the free software tool SW674-A009, which provides an intuitive interface for mapping Modbus registers and SNMP OIDs. The converter supports up to 115200 bps over the RS232 interface and offers 10/100 Base-T autosensing Ethernet for reliable SNMP communication.
