Security and VPN connectivity

TRB246 provides advanced security features, including firewall, VLAN and access control, as well as support for VPN tunnels such as OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, GRE, L2TP and DMVPN. This enables secure remote access to field devices and encrypted data transmission over public cellular networks.

I/O interfaces and local functions

The TRB246 is equipped with 3 digital inputs, 3 digital outputs and 1 analog input, enabling local signal monitoring and simple control logic. The device also supports event notifications via SMS or e-mail and integration with the Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS).

Industrial design and mounting

The gateway features a robust aluminium enclosure with IP30 protection and is designed for operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +75°C. A 9–30 VDC power supply and support for DIN rail or wall mounting make TRB246 suitable for harsh industrial environments.
