IES2105 from 3onedata is a series of 5-port unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches that feature an ultra-compact design to fit into control cabinets and machines that have little space for mounting additional equipment. In Ethernet networks, jumbo frames are Ethernet frames containing more than 1,500 bytes of payload, the limit set by the IEEE 802.3 standard. Using jumbo frames can reduce network and CPU load. Ethernet flow control for stable network operation

Ethernet flow control is a mechanism for temporarily halting data transmission on Ethernet networks. The purpose of this mechanism is to avoid packet loss in case of network congestion. In half-duplex transmission mode, backpressure is used to control the flow, sending a jamming signal to the source, causing the source to reduce its sending rate. In full-duplex transmission mode, flow control is achieved through a pause operation and transmission of control frames. The IES2105 series unmanaged switches can be easily enabled with a DIP switch for automatic flow control to effectively prevent the network from being affected due to the immediate large amount of data in the network, ensuring the efficient and stable operation of the user's network.

VLAN port-based technology for network flexibility

The unmanaged industrial switch series IES2105 from 3onedata can isolate 4 copper downlink ports from each other while maintaining the ability to communicate with the uplink port. Even if a port looping problem occurs on one copper port, a broadcast storm will not affect the normal communication of the other ports.
