The INKNXBAC3K00000 is a high-performance protocol gateway designed to provide seamless, bidirectional communication between KNX TP networks and BACnet IP or MS/TP servers. Supporting up to 3000 data points, this model is ideal for large-scale building automation systems where extensive device interoperability and data exchange are essential.
Acting as a BACnet client and KNX server, the device enables comprehensive control and monitoring of BACnet-compatible equipment—such as HVAC controllers, lighting ballasts, and metering systems—from a central KNX interface. All data points can be monitored, written, or updated depending on application requirements.
The gateway features robust communication hardware, including an Ethernet port for BACnet/IP, an opto-isolated terminal for KNX TP, and an RS232 console port for commissioning and firmware updates. Its rugged DIN-rail housing, wide operating temperature range, and compliance with major certifications make it suitable for demanding industrial and commercial installations.
