INMBSDAL1280200 – DALI to Modbus Gateway, 128 Devices, 2 Channels. 

The INMBSDAL1280200 gateway by Intesis enables bidirectional communication between DALI lighting systems and any Modbus-based control system, including BMS, SCADA, or PLC. Designed for industrial applications, it supports up to 128 DALI devices across two channels, ensuring full control and monitoring of all ballast parameters: addresses, groupings, dimming levels, and more.

Once configured, the gateway functions as a Modbus Server (slave), exposing internal Modbus registers that represent each DALI device. These registers allow Modbus clients to read and write parameters in real time. The device includes a built-in DALI power supply (15 VDC, max. 250 mA), eliminating the need for external power sources. It simplifies the integration of lighting systems into automation projects, streamlining energy management and lighting control from a unified Modbus interface.
