HD67165 allows you to connect a Modbus Master net (for example a PLC, SCADA System, etc) with a SNMP Manager net (for example a PC, Supervisory System, etc) in order to exchange the informations between the networks. Converter is easy to configure thanks to free SW67165 software. This model is designed for compact and space-saving applications, making it ideal for dense electrical panels or embedded systems where conventional converters would not fit.

Configuration:

Thanks to the SW67165 software on your PC you can:

  • Define the parameters of SNMP line
  • Define the parameters of Modbus line
  • Update the device

The intuitive configuration environment provided by the SW67165 software allows users to map Modbus data registers to SNMP OIDs with ease. Advanced options include SNMP trap configuration, alarm settings, and polling intervals. The RS-485 port ensures high noise immunity and allows for longer communication distances compared to RS-232. Once the configuration is complete, the setup can be uploaded via serial interface and backed up locally for later use or duplication.
