HD67090-B2-433MHz-40 is a high-performance M-Bus Wireless and wired M-Bus to PROFINET converter designed for advanced building automation and industrial monitoring applications. The gateway allows simultaneous connection of up to 40 wired M-Bus slave devices and 32 wireless M-Bus (wM-Bus) devices, providing a unified data integration point into PROFINET networks such as Siemens PLC controllers or SCADA/IAS systems. This enables centralized monitoring of water meters, heat meters, gas meters, energy counters and environmental sensors in both smart building and industrial automation infrastructures.

Operating in the 433 MHz frequency band, the converter ensures robust and reliable long-range communication. It fully supports S1 and T1 communication modes, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of commercially available wireless M-Bus devices. Equipped with an SMA antenna connector for wireless communication, a RJ45 Ethernet port with 10/100 Base-T autosensing for PROFINET, and a dedicated 5mm terminal block for wired M-Bus, the device is versatile and ready for demanding applications.

The converter is built in a durable type B housing and supports 35 mm DIN rail mounting, making it suitable for industrial cabinets and control systems. Its wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C ensures reliable performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. During startup, the converter requires a short-term peak power of 30W, which should be considered when designing the power supply of the system.

HD67090-B2-433MHz-40 enables seamless monitoring of M-Bus Wireless meters (Engelmann, Amber-Wireless, Maddalena, Siemens, etc.) and wired M-Bus devices directly from a PROFINET network. Installation and configuration are simple thanks to the free SW67090 software.

With the dedicated SCAN&DECODE software, there is no need to analyze telegram frames manually or consult device manufacturers – the software automatically scans the M-Bus network and decodes all registers.

This greatly reduces installation time and minimizes configuration errors, enabling a faster and more efficient system startup process.
