HD67090-B2-433MHz-20 is a professional M-Bus Wireless and wired M-Bus to PROFINET converter, designed to integrate measurement devices and industrial automation systems with Ethernet-based PROFINET networks. The device supports up to 32 wireless M-Bus meters and 20 wired M-Bus slaves simultaneously, which makes it a powerful solution for energy management, building automation and industrial control systems. Typical applications include integration of water meters, heat meters, gas meters, electricity meters and various environmental sensors into central SCADA or BMS platforms.

Operating at the 433 MHz frequency band, widely used in Europe, the converter ensures stable long-range communication and high penetration of wireless signals, even in dense building infrastructures or industrial areas. It is equipped with an SMA connector for external antennas, offering flexibility in antenna selection and positioning, as well as an RJ45 Ethernet port with auto-negotiation 10/100 Base-T for seamless PROFINET connectivity. An additional wired M-Bus port allows direct integration of traditional M-Bus devices, making the converter suitable for hybrid installations where both wireless and wired infrastructures coexist.

The converter is housed in a robust type B enclosure for DIN rail 35 mm mounting. It is designed to operate in harsh industrial conditions with an extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The device is highly resistant to electromagnetic interference, ensuring reliable operation in environments such as energy plants, HVAC installations, or industrial facilities. During start-up, the converter requires a maximum inrush power of 30W, which is important to consider in large-scale installations. HD67090-B2-433MHz-20 allows monitoring of M-Bus Wireless meters (Engelmann, Amber-Wireless, Maddalena, Siemens, etc.) via PROFINET networks (e.g. Siemens PLC). The converter is easy to install and configure thanks to free software SW67090.

The SCAN&DECODE tool automatically scans the M-Bus network and decodes all registers transmitted in telegrams. In practice, this means fast deployment, simplified configuration, and significantly reduced risk of human error. System integrators and technicians can therefore focus on system-level tasks instead of time-consuming protocol analysis.
