The HD674-A006-2-E4V converter is designed for reliable communication between a PROFINET network and Modbus RTU Master devices over RS232 in harsh industrial environments. Its robust metal enclosure and wide operating temperature make it ideal for mobile, transportation, marine, and extreme industrial settings. The device ensures safe operation even in environments exposed to mechanical stress, electromagnetic interference, or unstable power supply.

Thanks to its triple 4kV galvanic isolation between PROFINET, Modbus, and power lines, the converter guarantees data protection against transient voltages and ground loops. The system incorporates a microprocessor that supervises data consistency and prevents transmission errors, making it a highly reliable choice for integration into automation architectures. It supports PROFINET communication at 10/100 Mbps (autosensing) and Modbus RTU via RS232 with data rates up to 115200 bps.

This unit is available in two industrial-grade variants: version V (IP65) with PCB coating for dust protection, and version R (IP67) with resin encapsulation for full resistance to humidity and EMI. The -40°C to +105°C temperature range complies with automotive-grade requirements. The product can be mounted on any surface using the four integrated fixing lugs or metal hose clamps. The flexibility in choosing Mini-Fit or Superseal 1.5 connectors simplifies adaptation to various system configurations.
