The HD67164-232-422-A1 converter allows you to connect Modbus RTU slave devices with a SNMP Manager network (such as a PC or supervision system) to exchange data between protocols. It operates as a Modbus Master and polls data from slave devices to make it available via SNMP. The unit supports both RS-232 and RS-422 interfaces, providing flexibility for various installation requirements. The slim A-type housing ensures easy installation in control cabinets with limited space. Configuration:

Thanks to the SW67164 software on your PC you can:

  • Define SNMP line parameters
  • Configure Modbus line settings
  • Select Modbus variables to read/write from/to slaves
  • Define SNMP OIDs for each Modbus object
  • Automatically generate the MIB file
  • Update the firmware of the device

The software provides a user-friendly graphical interface and allows offline configuration. You can test communication before deployment and reuse saved configuration files for multiple units. SNMP objects are fully customizable, making it possible to match the structure required by your monitoring platform.
