121-M28 – industrial 12.1″ monitor for panel installation with IP65 front protection and HDMI/VGA/DP interfaces. 

The 121-M28 is a 12.1-inch industrial monitor designed for panel installation in advanced automation, industrial control, and HMI applications. Its aluminum alloy enclosure, 3 mm ultra-thin bezel, fully enclosed fanless design, and high electromagnetic interference resistance ensure stable operation in harsh industrial conditions. According to the product datasheet (page 1), the monitor is engineered to withstand oil stains, dust, vibrations and extreme temperatures, making it suitable for long-term 24/7 use in demanding environments.

High-clarity 12.1″ display – 350 cd/m² brightness and 1000:1 contrast

The 12.1″ TFT LCD panel provides a crisp resolution of 1280×800 (16:10), 350 cd/m² brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Wide viewing angles of 85/85/85/85° (L/R/U/D) ensure excellent visibility across operator stations. These characteristics, as shown in the screen parameter table on the datasheet (page 1), make the 121-M28 ideal for SCADA systems, control rooms, machine interfaces and industrial dashboards.

Interfaces – HDMI, VGA, DP, Audio I/O and RJ45 (USB-defined)

The 121-M28 includes all essential industrial video inputs: HDMI, VGA and DisplayPort (DP). Touch-enabled versions come with an RJ45 (USB-defined) interface and a standard RJ45-to-USB cable. As illustrated in the I/O interface section (page 1), the monitor also provides Audio I/O, a Phoenix 2-pin power terminal and a GND grounding point.

Power supply and environmental resistance

According to the power parameter section on page 1, the monitor operates from a wide DC 12–36 V input and is supplied with a 24 V / 1.5 A adapter. Operating temperature range is -10°C to +60°C (customizable to -20…70°C), and the unit tolerates up to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing). These specifications ensure stable performance in industrial facilities, automation cabinets, manufacturing lines and environments with dust or oil exposure. 

Touchscreen options and mounting flexibility – 121-M28 series

The 121-M28 series is available in three versions: 121-M2800 (non-touch), 121-M2810 (10-point projected capacitive touch), and 121-M2820 (resistive touch, single-point). As shown in the touch parameter table (page 1), light transmittance reaches ≥92% for non-touch, ≥88% for PCAP and ≥78% for resistive touch. 

The monitor dimensions are W330 × H227.3 × D52 mm, with installation cutout W316.1 × H213.94 mm, as illustrated in the dimension diagram (page 1). Supported mounting methods include panel installation, wall-embedded mounting, wall-mounting, desktop stands, folding arms and VESA mounting systems.
