HD67E22-A1 is an industrial protocol converter designed to integrate an EtherCAT network where the device operates as an EtherCAT Slave with a PROFINET network where it operates as a PROFINET Master. It enables two-directional data exchange between EtherCAT and PROFINET and provides isolation between EtherCAT, PROFINET and the Power Supply, supporting stable operation in industrial environments.

A key benefit of HD67E22-A1 is the embedded EtherCAT switching concept for enter/exit wiring. On the EtherCAT side the converter offers two RJ45 ports: one works as an Input port receiving frames from the EtherCAT Master, and the second works as an Output port forwarding frames to the next nodes in the line. This makes it easy to build a clean EtherCAT line topology without adding external Ethernet switching hardware.

The device includes 4x Ethernet RJ45 ports in total. Two ports are used for EtherCAT (IN/OUT), and two ports are used for PROFINET connection and service/update operations. For PROFINET and update operations, use at least a Category 5e cable (up to 100 m) compliant with T568 wiring norms for 100 Mbps Ethernet.
