MBus (Meter-Bus) is an European standard for remote reading of wide range of consumption meters. As long as MBus has both physical and application layer in most cases there is a need for external protocol/electrical layer converter to read MBus meter. Converters with MBus interface are used to read the data from gas meters, energy meters, water meters and others.

The HD67076-USB-B2-80 is a protocol converter between Modbus and MBus, which can be used for communication between PLC, PC or HMI that use Modbus protocol and MBus meters. The module is Slave at Modbus side and Master at M‐Bus side.
