This industrial-grade converter is designed to integrate CANopen networks with PROFIBUS DPV0 systems, ensuring seamless data exchange in demanding applications. Thanks to its metal housing with enhanced shock and vibration resistance, it is particularly suitable for use in automotive, marine, rail and industrial automation environments. The unit guarantees reliable operation even in areas exposed to high electromagnetic interference (EMI), humidity or temperature variations.

Its triple galvanic isolation (4kV) between CAN, PROFIBUS and power supply ensures high-level protection against overvoltage and potential ground loops. The device supports data rates up to 1 Mbps for CAN and up to 12 Mbps for PROFIBUS, allowing smooth performance in high-speed industrial networks. Two versions are available: one with a protective PCB coating (suffix code V) that guarantees IP65 dust and moisture resistance, and another with full resin encapsulation (suffix code R) providing enhanced insulation, IP67 protection, and improved resistance to electrical noise and humidity – ideal for harsh outdoor or automotive conditions.

The converter can be mounted on horizontal, vertical or oblique surfaces using four integrated fixing lugs. Additionally, it supports the use of metal hose clamps as an alternative mounting method, offering greater flexibility in confined spaces or vibration-sensitive installations. The user may select between Mini-Fit or SuperSeal 1.5 connectors depending on the application.

The device operates flawlessly in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, meeting the stringent requirements of AUTOMOTIVE-grade electronics. Its resistance to extreme thermal conditions makes it ideal for outdoor enclosures, engine compartments, or any application involving thermal cycling.

Thanks to the intuitive and free SW67417 configuration software, users can easily set up all communication parameters. No programming is required – all settings are done via a graphical user interface.
