Cross-linked halogen-free single-core cable.

Intended for use as power cables for transmission of electricity in rolling stock in rail vehicles (locomotives, trains, trolleybuses, etc.) with a high concentration of people and property. Installations in cable ducts, tubes and pipes. Special application for installations where there are increased requirements for fire protection and where low emission of fumes and corrosive gases during combustion is required.

Construction:

  • Wire: Copper, tinned flexible class 5 wire according to IEC 60228
  • Separator: Optional halogen-free tape
  • Insulation: XLPO-HFFR halogen-free cross-linked material type EI 109 according to EN 50264-3-1

Characteristic:

  • Insulation color: black
  • Maximum temperature of the wire during cable operation: +90°C
  • The minimum ambient temperature for permanently laid cables: -40°C
  • The minimum ambient temperature when laying cables: -5°C
  • Maximum core temperature during short circuit: +200°C, EN 50264-1 pkt. 1
  • The minimum bending radius: 5 x D, D – diameter of the cable
  • Compliance with the requirements of EN 45545-2 - HL3
  • Resistance to oil, diesel, ozone, UV
