Single core cables for permanent installation, low smoke emission and corrosive gases during smoking.

Application

In electrical engineering, control cabinets, switching stations, automation devices, as well as in lighting equipment and installations, in facilities with stricter fire-fighting requirements. Intended for laying in installation pipes mounted outside or embedded in the ground, or similar closed systems. For permanently protected installations inside or outside of lighting or control devices for alternating voltage up to 1000V or constant voltage up to 750V relative to ground.

Construction:

• Live: Copper, annealed flexible class 5 according to EN 60228
• Insulation: special cross-linked halogen-free compound type EI5 according to EN 50363-5
• Insulation color: green-yellow, blue, black, brown, gray, orange, pink, turquoise, purple, white

Characteristics:

• Maximum temperature of the core during cable operation: +90°C
• The minimum ambient temperature when laying cables: -5°C
• The minimum ambient temperature for permanently laid cables: -40°C
• Maximum core temperature during short circuit: +250°C
• Voltage test 50Hz: 2500V

Reaction to fire:

• Resistance to flame spread: IEC 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-3-24
• Smoke emission: EN 61034-2
• Separation of corrosive gases during combustion:
• IEC 60754-1: < 0,5% HCl
• IEC 60754-2: pH³ ≥ 4,3; conductivity ≤ 10 μSmm-1
