Model232D is a kind of RS-232 system communication extending product. It has auto-sense serial ratetransmission rate, optic electric isolation 2500V and there's no external power needed, so Model232D can be applicated in tough work environments. Transmission distance at 9,600bps is 2,000m and there is a stable performance. Model232D has 2500 volts of isolation, which is twice the rating of most isolators to protect RS-232 equipment from lightning strikes, accidental high voltage shorts and ground loops.
