Special single-core cables in rubber insulation.

The cables are intended for permanent installation in rail vehicles, in pipes and closed ducts. 1.8 / 3 kV cables can be used in control devices and distributors up to 1000V. In power and connection systems, this type of cable gives high resistance to short-circuit and earth-fault overloads.

Construction:

  • Cores: Of tinned copper wires, multi-wire flexible classes 5 according to DIN-EN 60228
  • Insulation: EPR rubber compound type 3GI3 according to DIN VDE 0207 part 20
  • Insulation color: Natural
  • Outer coverage: 5GM3 flame retardant and oil resistant compound according to DIN VDE 0207 part 21
  • The color of the outer cover: Black

Characteristics:

  • Maximum conductor temperature during cable operation: +90°C
  • Minimum ambient temperature for permanently laid cables: -40°C
  • Minimum ambient temperature for cable laying: -25°C
  • Maximum core temperature during short circuit: +250°C
  • Minimum bending radius: 5x outer diameter of the wire
  • Standard packaging: On drums of 500 or 1000 m. It is possible to offer other lengths of sections and types of packaging.

Reaction to fire:

  • Resistance to flame spread: IEC 60332-1-2
  • CPR - reaction to fire class (according to EN 50575): Eca

Complies with: DIN VDE 0250-602
