IGW3300-2T-DB-P(24VDC) – Industrial PROFIBUS to PROFINET Gateway for DIN Rail

IGW3300-2T-DB-P(24VDC) is a compact and easy-to-deploy industrial PROFIBUS DP to PROFINET IO communication gateway, designed to integrate existing PROFIBUS installations with modern PROFINET-based automation systems. The device enables fast, bidirectional cyclic I/O data exchange between both networks without the need to replace field devices.

On the PROFINET side, the gateway is equipped with 2× 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports with an integrated switch, enabling simple line topology integration. Advanced PROFINET functions such as IRT, FSU and MRP are supported, with a maximum process data size of 1440 bytes IN + 1440 bytes OUT.

On the PROFIBUS side, the device features 1× DB9 female connector, fully compliant with PROFIBUS DP V0 / V1. The gateway supports up to 125 PROFIBUS slave devices and all standard baud rates, up to 12 Mbit/s, ensuring full compatibility with existing PROFIBUS equipment.

IGW3300-2T-DB-P(24VDC) supports multiple operating modes, including PROFIBUS Master, PROFIBUS Slave, PROFINET Master and PROFINET Slave, providing maximum flexibility when designing system architectures. A protocol conversion time of <15 ms ensures deterministic and stable communication in industrial automation applications.

Configuration is performed using dedicated free configuration software, which enables PROFINET and PROFIBUS data mapping, slave diagnostics, network scanning, configuration backup and restore, as well as firmware upgrades via Ethernet. Additional IP and MAC filtering functions enhance network security.

The gateway features triple galvanic isolation between PROFIBUS, Ethernet and power supply, along with protection against reverse polarity and short circuit. The device is powered by 24 VDC (±10%).
