INMBSHIS001R000 is an industrial Intesis communication gateway designed to integrate Hisense VRF systems with Modbus RTU (RS-485) networks. The device operates as a Modbus RTU slave (EIA485) and exposes registers that can be read and written by PLCs, SCADA, BMS or automation controllers—making HVAC part of a single, consistent supervisory layer.
The gateway is wired directly to the indoor unit, enabling control of key HVAC functions such as operating mode, fan speed and temperature setpoint. At the same time, it provides Modbus access to diagnostic data including errors, alarms and selected internal variables. This is especially valuable in building automation projects where service conditions must be visible in the BMS and used in alarm handling or automation logic.
INMBSHIS001R000 is engineered for fast commissioning: installation typically comes down to wiring the gateway to the AC unit and setting parameters via DIP switches (configuration is also possible via Modbus RTU). No configuration software is required and, in typical applications, an external power supply is not needed.
