INKNXACA016I000 – Bosch Commercial and VRF to KNX Interface for Up to 16 AC Units. 

The INKNXACA016I000 gateway from Intesis enables seamless bi-directional integration between Bosch Commercial & VRF air conditioning systems and KNX automation networks. It supports communication with up to 16 indoor units, offering centralised control, energy-saving functions, and real-time monitoring via KNX.

This compact interface is directly connected to an indoor or outdoor Bosch unit and can be fully configured using the ETS (Engineering Tool Software), ensuring compatibility with standard KNX-based systems. All essential Data Point Types (DPT) are provided to guarantee interoperability with any KNX thermostat available on the market.

Beyond basic control functions such as on/off, operating mode, fan speed, and temperature setpoint, the interface allows advanced feedback and diagnostics, including error notifications, operating hours counter (ideal for filter maintenance scheduling), and access to internal variables of the air conditioning unit.

Energy efficiency features such as “timeout”, “open window” and “occupancy detection” allow the system to reduce unnecessary energy consumption, thus lowering HVAC operating costs. Additionally, the system supports simultaneous control via IR remote and KNX, ensuring flexible operation.
