170-M28 – industrial 17″ monitor for panel installation with IP65 front protection and HDMI/VGA/DP interfaces. 

The 170-M28 is a 17-inch industrial monitor designed for professional panel installation in automation, machine control and HMI applications. It features a durable aluminum alloy enclosure with an ultra-thin 3 mm bezel and a fully enclosed fanless structure, ensuring resistance to dust, oil, vibration, and EMI interference. Its industrial-grade controller board enables stable 24/7 operation in demanding environments.

17″ industrial display – 1280×1024 resolution, 250–300 cd/m² brightness and wide viewing angles

The monitor uses a 17″ TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1280×1024 (5:4), brightness of 250–300 cd/m², and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Wide 85/85/80/70° viewing angles ensure excellent readability in industrial environments, even when viewed from the side or at operator workstations located at various angles.

Interfaces – HDMI, VGA, DP, Audio I/O, RJ45 (USB-defined) and Phoenix power terminal

The 170-M28 includes a full selection of industrial interfaces: HDMI, DisplayPort (DP), VGA, Audio I/O, and a touchscreen interface via RJ45 (USB-defined) with an RJ45–USB cable included. For power input, the monitor uses a Phoenix 2-pin connector and a dedicated GND grounding terminal.

Power supply and environmental conditions

The monitor supports a wide 12–36 V DC input range and is supplied with a 24 V / 1.5 A power adapter. Operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +60°C (extendable to -20°C…+70°C). The monitor is designed to work reliably in up to 95% non-condensing humidity, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments and high-demand automation systems.

Touchscreen versions and mounting options – 170-M28 series

The 170-M28 series is available in three models: 170-M2800 (non-touch), 170-M2810 (10-point projected capacitive touch), and 170-M2820 (resistive single-touch). Light transmittance levels are approx. ≥92% (non-touch), ≥88% (PCAP), and ≥78% (resistive).

The physical dimensions of the monitor are W414 × H345 × D55.5 mm, and the required panel cutout is W397.2 × H328.2 mm. Supported mounting options include panel installation, recessed mounting, wall mounting, desktop use, folding-arm systems, VESA mounts and suspended mounting structures.
