The INBACMEB0600000 gateway by Intesis (HMS Networks) delivers seamless, bidirectional integration between M-Bus metering networks and BACnet-based building automation systems. Designed for large-scale energy-management projects, it maps the values of up to 60 M-Bus slave devices—thermal, water, gas or electricity meters—into a BACnet/IP or BACnet MS/TP client with a capacity of 1 500 BACnet objects. BTL certification (B-AAC profile) guarantees out-of-the-box interoperability with professional BMS, SCADA and PLC platforms.
A powerful 32-bit architecture and an embedded M-Bus master stack ensure fast polling cycles, while extensive buffering protects against data loss during network outages. Configuration is simplified via an integrated web interface or over Ethernet/USB using Intesis MAPS. DIP-switches on the chassis let installers quickly set 120 Ω termination or line polarisation for the isolated RS-485 port.
