IN7004852500000 – BACnet IP or MSTP to Modbus RTU/TCP Gateway (250 points). 

The IN7004852500000 gateway enables seamless and bidirectional communication between BACnet IP or MS/TP server devices and Modbus controllers, whether Modbus TCP or Modbus RTU. Supporting up to 250 data points, it is designed for integration with BMS systems and industrial controllers that rely on open protocols for HVAC, energy management, lighting and automation tasks.

With BTL certification and support for the BACnet B-AAC profile, this robust device ensures compatibility and high reliability across critical automation networks. It supports simultaneous communication on both Modbus RTU and TCP, enabling flexible deployment across hybrid architectures. The device works in server-client mode, mapping BACnet objects into Modbus registers and vice versa, so each protocol can act as if the other were natively present.

Configuration is handled through Intesis MAPS software, which offers a visual environment for defining point mapping, reading device templates, or importing/exporting prebuilt configurations. Thanks to BACnet Explorer functionality, discovering devices and objects on the BACnet network becomes fast and intuitive, minimizing commissioning time.

For system diagnostics, the gateway offers multiple LED indicators for power, Modbus activity (TX/RX), and Ethernet status. It includes Modbus RTU (RS485), Modbus TCP (Ethernet), BACnet IP (Ethernet), and BACnet MS/TP (RS485) ports, as well as an RS232 console port for firmware updates or serial debugging.
