The INMBSDAL0640500 gateway by Intesis is a high-performance, industrial-grade device that provides seamless integration between DALI/DALI-2 systems and Modbus-based control systems. Supporting both Modbus TCP and RTU simultaneously, it enables flexible and reliable integration with virtually any building automation controller or BMS. This makes it an ideal solution for commercial lighting control applications where DALI networks need to be monitored or controlled via Modbus.

The gateway offers one fully independent DALI channels, capable of supporting up to 64 drivers or ballasts and 16 DALI-2 sensors or input devices. The internal DALI power supply guarantees a current of 235mA per channel, ensuring reliable performance across complex installations. Certified for DALI-2 and UL standards, this gateway meets stringent requirements for industrial safety and interoperability.

Configuration and DALI commissioning are handled through Intesis MAPS, an intuitive configuration and monitoring tool. Users can easily define groupings, scenes, and DALI addressing, or import ready-to-use project templates. The software also provides real-time diagnostics, making it simple to manage devices and troubleshoot issues.

The bidirectional nature of this gateway ensures that both Modbus and DALI systems can exchange commands and data transparently. This allows for status monitoring, control of lighting levels, fault reporting, and interaction with presence or light sensors within the same framework.
