RACK2000D – Industrial 2U Rack Chassis for 16 Media Converter Cards with Redundant Power Supply

RACK2000D is an industrial 2U rack-mounted chassis with 16 slots, designed for the centralized installation of slide-in media converter cards in 19-inch network and industrial cabinets. The chassis allows up to 16 media converter cards to be installed in a single enclosure, providing a clean, organized and service-friendly network infrastructure.

The RACK2000D chassis is compatible with a wide range of media converter cards supporting Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, including copper and fiber interfaces. This flexibility enables scalable system design and easy adaptation to various industrial and enterprise networking requirements.

A fanless mechanical design ensures silent, maintenance-free operation while providing efficient heat dissipation. The chassis supports hot-swappable card installation, allowing media converter cards to be inserted or replaced without powering down the entire system, which is critical for high-availability applications.

RACK2000D is equipped with dual redundant AC power supplies operating in the range of 100–260 VAC (50–60 Hz). In the event of a power module failure, the secondary supply automatically takes over to maintain uninterrupted operation. The power system features full overcurrent and overvoltage protection, with output ripple and noise levels below 50 mV, ensuring stable power delivery to all installed cards.

The chassis is designed for harsh environments, supporting an operating temperature range of -20…60°C and relative humidity up to 95% (non-condensing). Its robust metal housing and standard 19-inch / 2U form factor make it an ideal solution for industrial automation, energy systems, transportation and critical infrastructure.
