The IES6000-8GT2HS is a fully managed Layer 2 industrial Ethernet switch designed for high-performance communication networks. It features 8 Gigabit copper ports and 2 high-speed 2.5G SFP slots, enabling flexible uplink expansion and bandwidth scalability. With DIN-rail or wall mounting options, the device fits seamlessly into industrial cabinets and distributed installations.
The switch supports a comprehensive set of networking protocols including STP/RSTP/MSTP, ERPS, 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, IGMP Snooping, LLDP, LACP and Static Aggregation. Advanced management capabilities such as SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON, DHCP Server/Relay/Snooping, SSH, HTTPS, Radius and TACACS+ ensure full visibility, security and control over the network environment.
The SW-Ring redundancy mechanism provides fast recovery with a switching time below 20 ms, allowing ring, chain, coupling ring and dual-homing topologies. The combination of Loop Protection and storm suppression safeguards the network from broadcast storms and topology faults, ensuring continuous and stable operation.
Designed for harsh industrial environments, the IES6000-8GT2HS operates reliably in ambient temperatures from -40°C to +75°C. The rugged IP40 metal housing, fanless architecture and compliance with key EMC standards make it suitable for high-interference areas such as energy facilities, transportation, heavy industry, smart city infrastructure and industrial automation.
The device features dual redundant 12–48VDC power inputs, reverse-polarity protection, over-current protection and a relay alarm output for power or port failures. Diagnostic tools such as Ping, Port Mirroring and Cable Detection simplify maintenance and reduce troubleshooting time.
