The INBACHIT001R000 is a professional-grade communication interface developed by Intesis by HMS, designed to integrate Hitachi VRF air conditioning systems with BACnet IP and BACnet MS/TP networks. This compact, DIN-rail mountable device ensures full bi-directional communication and control of a single indoor unit, making it ideal for BMS or automation projects in commercial buildings where precision and reliability are required.

Thanks to the BTL certification, the gateway guarantees seamless interoperability with a wide range of BACnet controllers and devices. It acts as a BACnet server, exposing the properties and functionalities of the AC unit as standardized BACnet objects. The abstraction layer enables integrators to access and control essential HVAC data such as operating mode, temperature setpoints, fan speed, error codes, and internal system variables – all through the BACnet protocol.

This gateway is directly wired to the indoor unit, eliminating the need for external interfaces or control buses. It supports simultaneous operation via the manufacturer's remote controller, allowing users to maintain local control while integrating the unit into the BMS environment.
