IntesisBox INKNXDAI001I100 is an industrial communication interface that enables full bi-directional monitoring and control of Daikin domestic air conditioners from a KNX building automation installation. This allows HVAC to operate within KNX scenes, schedules and logic—aligned with lighting, shading, sensors and BMS functions.
The gateway is wired directly to the indoor unit, ensuring stable data exchange and fast response to commands. It provides control of core HVAC functions such as operating mode, fan speed and temperature setpoint, while also enabling monitoring of errors, alarms and selected internal variables, supporting diagnostics and service activities.
A major advantage in real projects is the presence of 4 potential-free binary inputs. They allow you to integrate signals from external devices (e.g. window contacts, presence sensors, buttons, run/fault signals) and use them inside KNX logic—such as automatically limiting AC operation when a room is unoccupied or when a window is open.
