IntesisBox INMBSLGE001R000 is an industrial communication gateway that integrates LG VRF air conditioning systems with Modbus RTU (EIA485 / RS-485) networks. It enables standardized HVAC control and feedback through Modbus registers, making it a practical interface for PLC, SCADA and BMS environments where interoperability and repeatable commissioning matter.
The communication is fully bi-directional. From the Modbus side you can manage core AC functions (e.g., operating mode, fan speed, temperature setpoint) and at the same time read back the unit’s status. In addition to normal supervision, the gateway can expose errors, alarms and selected internal variables, allowing you to build service-oriented logic, notifications and energy-saving strategies within the control system.
INMBSLGE001R000 is wired directly to the indoor unit, which helps ensure stable communication and simplifies installation. Commissioning is typically fast—mainly wiring the gateway to the AC unit and setting parameters via DIP switches (configuration is also possible via Modbus RTU). No configuration software is required, and no external power supply is needed in typical applications.
